goldiekat70ParticipantI have been doing the eat stop eat diet going on two weeks now and not seeing any real weight loss. The days I eat I keep my calories around 1200 and eat less then a 100 carbs a day. I try and walk two to three miles a day. I was doing the calories and carbs before learning about the eat stop eat way of life and lost 10lbs. When I included ESE I moved my carb intake from 50 to 100. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

KellyParticipantHi!
Can you please give us some info? What is your weight, height, waist measurement? Are you fasting once or twice a week? Do you mean that you eat 100 calories of carbs a day?

Some weeks I will go down in inches and my weight stays the same. I try to go by how my clothes fit and how I feel over all and not so much by the scale since that will fluctuate depending on water you might retaining at the time, the time of day, etc. I would say just keep doing what you’re doing and be patient. It takes time but you will start seeing results. I went two weeks without losing weight or inches but I just kept going and I eventually broke through the plateau. Good luck!

JulieParticipantRegarding the body weight fluctuations it really is quite random. Sometimes you see a pattern with foods and fasting and water, but not always. Most of the time when you fast you will drop, most of the time when you eat more you will go up – but not always. There are times when in the middle of a fast you go up, other times when you eat more that you go down.
There are really too many factors at play and getting caught up is a waste of time and can be quite frustrating because it will not always match up to a normal pattern.

AnnaParticipantThis is so common a question and situation. You are not doing anything wrong. You just need to keep going. Two weeks is not very long at all.
It’s definitely the calorie deficit that causes fat loss, but it’s a delayed reaction and it drops in random chunks. It’s very normal to have weeks where nothing appears to happen, but really the process still works, it’s just delayed. The body is very complex and has lots to accomplish internally, water, glycogen, inflammation, hormone cycles, food digestion, etc so the body weight can fluctuate and it does not mean the calorie deficit isn’t working, sometimes you just have to wait a few more weeks.

SusanMillerParticipantWeight loss is very easy by taking a proper diet along with regular exercises. The detox tea is also a popular choice among many people. You can go for thé detox tea for weight and fat loss.
