Hello everyone
I’ve been reading about the benefits of intermittent fasting along with a low-carb diet. I’m already on the low carb diet and have been in ketosis for the most part for a few months now. I wanted to start throwing in some intermittent fasting and I had a couple ideas that I think might work for me I’m just curious if it would work for weight loss. I am an early bird so I normally have breakfast around 4: 30 or 5 a. M.. so I was thinking if I have breakfast that early then skip lunch and eat dinner around 4: 30-5pm would that be a good fit, or does it need to be longer? Then I would do another fast from 4: 30 to 4: 30 in the morning again.
Hi and Welcome!
What you are going to do is called DAILY fasting routine. From 5am to 5pm your fasting window will be around 12 hours. If you will see permanent weight loss trend on this style of fasting and you can EASILY maintain it for a long-term, then you’re on the right track.
